Airborne particle count test

The measurements are made to certify or verify the cleanliness classification of the installation in accordance with ISO 14644-1 or to make periodic monitoring in accordance with ISO 14644-2. This test method specifies the measurement of airborne particle concentrations with size distributions having a threshold size between 0.5 μm and 5 μm. Measurements can be made in any of three defined occupancy states; as-built, at-rest and operational.
